Sonoran Standard is the only doodle breeding program owned and operated by a veterinarian in the state of Arizona. Dr. Jordy is passionate about producing amazing puppies, as well as educating pet owners and fellow dog breeders. Dr.Jordy breeds Bernedoodles and Golden Mountain Doodles, & Standard Poodles. Her primary goals for the program are health, temperament, genetic diversity, and low shedding coats. Dr. Jordy strives to make ideal family companions that are sweet natured and easily trainable! 

Dr. Jordy’s dogs are beloved family members first and foremost. Our breeding dogs either live with us or in a loving Guardian Home, not in a kennel. All of our puppies are lovingly raised in our family home in New River, AZ. 
Dams and sires in the program are thoroughly evaluated for temperament, structure, and are health tested prior to breeding, including DNA testing via Embark & Paw Print Genetics, PennHIP tested, and OFA tested! Sonoran Standard puppies are raised on a curriculum, heavily influenced by Badass Breeder, which includes socialization to children and other animals, as well as desensitization to sights, sounds, grooming, handling, and new experiences. They discourage puppy selection based solely on color or sex and we do NOT allow clients to choose their puppy prior to 7 weeks of age. Litters are formally temperament tested by a trainer. Test results are used to help guide families to select the puppy that best meets their preferences, needs, and lifestyle so that our matches last a lifetime! We provide this information along with DNA test results which help predict adult size and coat type, & vet exam results prior to puppy pick day!
